About the tournament
The Evansville Courier & Press Men’s City Golf
Tournament is played on the first two full weekends
of August, with the qualification round the Saturday
two weeks prior to Round One. Past Champions and
the top 100 scorers plus ties from the previous
championship are exempt from qualification for the
Evansville Courier & Press Men’s City Tournament.
The championship shall be contested over 72 holes unless shortened by weather or unforeseen conditions. The low 40 scorers and ties, or any player within 10 shots of the leader after 36 holes, will qualify for the final 36 holes.
