Knox County Amateur Championship

A longstanding fixture in the Knoxville-area amateur golf scene, the Knox County Amateur is a 36-hole stroke play tournament featuring five competitive flights. Players may compete in the championship, senior, or additional flighted divisions, with championship and senior players declaring their division prior to play.
The event is part of the Knoxville Amateur Tour, where competitors earn points throughout the season in pursuit of qualification for the Knoxville Cup, a Ryder Cup-style competition that matches the region’s top amateurs against local PGA professionals.
