About the tournament
Connecticut's premier four ball match play
event has a who's-who list of past champions
that includes all the state's best players. The
tournament is played in honor of Harry
Bartholomew, one of the founding members of
the Central Connecticut Golf Association who
was instrumental in the expansion of the
course
and establishing a affordable golf club. In 1945
the Pinehurst (NC) Outlook recognized Mr.
Bartholomew by
publishing the following: “Harry Bartholomew is
one of too
few individuals who long ago decided that
golf is such a grand game that working
men ought to be come acquainted with.
He founded a working man’s golf Club in
Bristol, Connecticut – The Pequabuck Golf
Club”.

Saturday - First Round of Match Play
and Quaterfinals in each flight.(18-hole
matches) Sunday - Semi-Finals, Finals and
Consolation Round for non-qualifiers (18-hole
matches)
