The Chicago City Amateur Championship is a 54-hole stroke play championship contested at historic Jackson Park Golf Course. After 36 holes, the field is cut to the leading players and ties before the final round, with leaders going out first to create a true championship finish. Opened in 1899 and recognized as the first public golf course west of the Allegheny Mountains, Jackson Park gives the event a meaningful connection to the early growth of public golf in Chicago and the Midwest.
Open to amateur men; registration deadline two weeks prior to event date
