West Virginia Mid-Amateur Championship
The Pines Country Club • Morgantown, WV

Members get complete historical leaderboards for every year of West Virginia Open Championship on record — scores, positions, and hometowns going back decades.
Entries are open to male amateur golfers with an active GHIN Handicap Index of 8.0 or less through a WVGA Member Club and Professionals. Qualifying is required for those who do not meet the exemption criteria. Format is 54-holes of stroke play with the field cut to the low 60 players and ties after 36 holes.
Players must qualify through one of six state-wide qualifying tournaments held across West Virginia, or receive an automatic exemption as a past champion. Entry appears to require WVGA membership based on the pattern of other WVGA championships.
