About the tournament

The Foursomes Championship championship was started in in 1954 by Jack and Fred Brand, Jr. in honor of their father, Fred Brand, Sr. who was a long time golf professional at Allegheny Country Club and winner of four WPGA Open Championships. The event consists of thirty- six holes of stroke play, foursomes format.

The event has traditionally started the Association's championship season and is our most popular team event.
