About the tournament
One of the largest tournaments in the Utah, with a
field size of 250 players
Flight Information: The field will be broken into flights as determined using the Handicap Index as of March 1st. Flights will be exclusively gross or net, this info will be sent in the pre-tournament email. Handicaps for the event will be calculated from the March 1 revision.
Eligibility: Winterchamps is open to all UGA members 18 years of age and older. Junior players with Handicap Indexes 9.9 or better will also be eligible to play.
Format: 36 hole stroke play using a modified stableford format. Scoring will be as follows:
Double Bogey or worse - 0 points
Bogey - 1 point
Par - 2 points
Birdie - 4 points
Eagle - 6 points
Double Eagle - 8 points
