
Virginia Parent-Child Championship

Members get complete historical leaderboards for every year of Maine Parent-Child Championship on record — scores, positions, and hometowns going back decades.
The Parent-Child Championship is an alternate shot tournament with teams consisting of one parent and one child. Parents may play with as many as three children, and each team will play one ball, alternating drives and shots, with fathers teeing off on odd numbered holes. Childs will drive on the odd numbered holes.
Gross prizes are given in each of three age divisions – 14 and under, 15-18 years, and 19 and over. Net prizes under the Callaway system will be give for the 14 and under age group, while both Callaway and regular handicap index prizes will be given for the other age groups. There will also be a pro- amateur division with both gross and net prizes. MSGA membership cards are required for one player on each team.
