Tom Barry Lakeside Invitational

Since 1950, Lakeside Park Club’s annual Interclub Invitational has celebrated competitive golf and camaraderie among Greater Richmond clubs. A dedicated group of members continues to renew this tradition, welcoming a strong field of amateurs and professionals each year. Conducted in honor of Virginia Golf Hall of Fame member Tom Barry, PGA, the event reflects his legacy of service to golfers and the development of young professionals across the Mid-Atlantic region. The Invitational typically features Senior and Open divisions with tee times beginning in the morning and afternoon, drawing teams from clubs across Virginia. Players are expected to hold an active VSGA handicap, compete as part of a four‑player, two‑person pairing team, and possess a working knowledge of the Rules of Golf.
