About the tournament
The Jack Thompson Cup pits top CDGA senior amateurs against top Illinois PGA senior professionals in this annual team match play event, named for Jack Thompson who founded it in 1990. Format: Invitation-only Four-Ball Nassau Matches—five two-player amateur teams versus five pro teams, each on a three-point Nassau basis.
