Sacramento County Women's Championship
The Sacramento County Women’s Championship is a 36-hole stroke-play tournament contested at Mather Golf Course. The event features multiple divisions, including a Championship Flight, Handicap Division, and Senior Championship Flight. Championship Flight competitors must have an index of 6.6 or less and will play at scratch. The Handicap Division awards a Low Net Winner and Net Prizes. The Senior Championship Flight, will award the Low Gross Winner, Top Finishers, and a Low Net Winner. This flight will need a minimum of 8 players for points. Otherwise, players will need to choose to play in the Championship or Handicap Division. If this happens, a Low Gross winner will be awarded in the Handicap Division.
Winners of each division earn championship titles and have their names inscribed on perpetual trophies. Play is conducted over two days, with awards and prize distribution based on the number of participants.
