About the tournament
The Rocket City Open is a 36-hole gross stroke play tournament at The Mission Club in Lompoc, named for the nearby Vandenberg Space Force Base where rocket launches are visible from the course. Open to all amateur golfers, the field is limited to the first 81 entries.
