It features a grueling 36-hole, single-day format at select sites worldwide. Players who advance from Local Qualifying or hold exemptions compete for limited spots in the championship.
Players qualify for Final Qualifying by advancing from Local Qualifying or receiving local exemptions. Entry applications opened February 18, 2026 and closed April 8, 2026 through champs.usga.org.
