Southland Conference Women's Golf Championship

The Southland Conference, established in 1963, boasts a rich history of athletic and academic excellence, with 12 member institutions averaging 25 years of tenure. Known as the “Gas Tank League,” its regional focus across Louisiana and Texas fosters accessibility for fans and families. Member schools include Lamar University, Stephen F. Austin, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

The conference hosts the NCAA DI FCS Championship in Frisco, Texas, through 2025. Southland teams have claimed six FCS national titles and 70 playoff victories. Its athletes excel beyond football, with stars in the NBA, MLB, and PGA, highlighting Southland’s commitment to diverse athletic success.
