In golf, the Big South has achieved notable success, including two top-10 finishes in the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship, with a fifth-place finish in 2007. The conference boasts three top-24 finishes in the NCAA Women’s Golf Championship since 2011 and has produced standout athletes, including Dustin Johnson, the No. 1-ranked collegiate men’s golfer in 2007. Additionally, the Big South qualified three teams for NCAA postseason play in men’s golf in the same year for the first time in 2016.
