About the tournament

Formerly the Jones Cup, the PGA University Championship is the National Championship for PGA Golf Management University Programs. The best players from PGM Programs around the country. The competition is a 36-hole, team stroke play championship consisting of five (5) players per team, with the four (4) lowest scores counting each round. All 18 of the PGA accredited golf management university programs compete in this annual championship.
