About the tournament
This competition is open to male amateur golfers who are 55 years of age or older. Participants must be members in good standing of a golf club affiliated with Golf Canada or hold a Golf Canada Public Player membership.
A shorter set of tees will be available for players aged 70 and over. Teams with a player competing from the shorter tees will not be eligible for the overall prize.
Players must have an active and up-to-date Handicap Index both when submitting their application and at the registration deadline. It is each player’s responsibility to ensure that their Handicap Index is current by the registration deadline.
The Team Handicap Index will be calculated as follows:
Team Handicap Index = (60% of the lower Handicap Index + 40% of the higher Handicap Index) ÷ 2
The Team Handicap Index will be used to determine divisions and prizes. The divisional breakdown will be communicated to competitors before the start of the competition.
