Stocker Cup champion in 2008 and Kelly Cup champion in 2009. Medalist at a 2010 U.S. Open Local Qualifying as well as 2009 and 2010 U.S. Mid-Amateur Sectional. A seven-time Northern Nevada Golf Association Player of the Year, Saunders has won five Northern Nevada Amateurs and one Nevada State Amateur.
