U.S. Mid-Am: TV times, schedule and how to follow

TV coverage of the U.S. Mid-Amateur begins Wednesday. Here's how to follow

A Masters start – along with a U.S. Open exemption – is on the line as the final eight players tee it up in the U.S. Mid-Amateur quarterfinals on Wednesday. These are arguably the biggest perks that come with winning this championship, and especially meaningful to a career mid-amateur player.

Stroke-play qualifying began Sept. 22 at Carolina Golf Club and Charlotte Country Club in Charlotte, N.C. Past that, player must advance through six rounds of match play to claim the title.

Television Coverage

The U.S. Mid-Amateur marks the final televised event of the 2018 USGA competition schedule. It ends 150 hours of live coverage that spanned Fox networks throughout the championship season. Only the semifinal matches and the championship match will be televised on Fox, according to the schedule below. All times are Eastern.

Wednesday, Sept. 6: 4-6 p.m., semifinal matches – FS1
