Mac McClung shoots 68 at Lincoln Park to pace qualifiers; cut falls at 75

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Feb. 12, 2010) -- Pre-qualifying for the 2010 Men's Championship Division of the San Francisco City Championship was held Friday at San Francisco's Lincoln Park. Players who shot 75 or better qualified for the weekend's 36 hole qualifying round to determine 64 players for match play in the country's oldest continually held amateur championship.

St. Mary's golfer Mac McClung -- who attended Irvington High School in Fremont and had a solid high school and junior career -- posted even par 68 to lead qualifiers, while Carter Pool, Justin Marchiando, and Shotaro Ban were one shot back at 69.
