Jordan Madison, of Pasco, Wash. continued his strong play Saturday afternoon defeating Travis Andrews of Auburn, Washington, 4 & 3

Lakewood, Washington (July 16, 2005) -- Jordan Madison, a Washington State University golfer from Pasco, Wash. continued his strong play Saturday afternoon defeating Travis Andrews, a University of Washington golfer from Auburn, Wash. 4 and 3. The first eighteen holes in the morning exchanged leads three times. Madison and Andrew's match continued to be tight in the afternoon, in which Madison was only 1 up after 27 holes after making birdie on the 27th hole. Madison turned up the heat on the back nine, birding #10 and #11 to go 3 up with 5 holes to play. Then, on the 32nd hole of the match (#14), Madison made another birdie to go dormie (four up with four to play). Both players made par on the 33rd hole giving Madison the win 4 and 3.
