With the best two of three individual scores counting each day for the team total Washington State totaled 288 (2 over par) and finished three shots in front of Alberta GA. Colorado GA finished in third place at 293, a shot in front of co-first-round leaders Southern Nevada and British Columbia.
Washington State became the fifth association to win back-to-back titles and the first since Northern California GA won three in a row from 1992-1994.
Prugh had rounds of 72-70, while Joe Lanza posted consecutive 73s to lead the Washington State contingent. Defending Pacific Coast Amateur champion Michael Putnam shot 75-74, neither of which was needed for the team win.
