CRESWELL, Ore. (March 25, 2014) -- Oregon State carded the round of the day Tuesday, a 3-over 291, to wrap up the victory at the Duck Invitational at Emerald Valley Golf Club in Creswell, Ore.
The 68th-ranked Beavers entered the final round two shots in front of 48th-ranked Oregon. But the Ducks shot 12 over Tuesday to fall to third place. Oregon State finished at 9-over 873, nine shots better than runner-up Minnesota and 11 shots better than Oregon.
Medalist honors were shared by Minnesota's Jose Mendez and Colorado's Jeremy Paul at 3-under 213. Oregon State had two players in the top 10 – Kevin Murphy (T-3) and Brian Jung (T-10).
