Mexican National Amateur:Vazquez wins by two

Mexico City resident, Seabstian Vazquez Colin, captures the Mexican National Amateur Championship by two shots

MONTERREY, MEXICO (June 12, 2011) -- Mexico City resident, Seabstian Vazquez Colin, captured the Mexican National Amateur Championship by two shots with scores of 69-69-69-67--274. Eugenio Parrodi Wiechers from Queretaro started the day tied with Colin, but a final round 71 placed him second alone with a total of 69-70-66-71--276. Chilean Cristobal del Solar was third with scores of 76-69-67-67--279. Four players were tied in fourth place at 281, including Rodolfo Cazaubon from the state of Mexico (currently enrolled at the University of North Texas) who had course record 62 in the second round.
