Limbhasut, 18, is from Loma Linda; earlier this summer he won the prestigious Western Junior. The Thailand native is an incoming freshman on the Cal Berkeley golf team. One stroke back is reigning Alameda Commuters champ Jonathan de los Reyes (66 on Saturday). Which brings to mind the trivia question - who was the last player to win the Alameda Commuters and State Fair (two similarly historic independent events) in the same year?

Four players are tied at 67 with two rounds left to play. Lynne Cowan of AmateurGolf.com, who is currently competing in the Women's State Fair (she shot 74 today) will be out to cover the Men on Monday since her event is just 36 holes. Stay tuned for more from AmateurGolf.com.
