In the final, Audrain birdied the first then made eagle on the par-5 fourth hole to get to 2 up early. Owens, however, followed with two birdies to square it. Owens finished the first nine with a 1-up lead when Audrain bogeyed the 17th hole.

Audrain got the match back to all square by No. 4 on the second 18, but then Owens went on another run. He birdied Nos. 6 and 7, then Audrain bogeyed the 18th to get to 3 down.

Ultimately, Audrain clawed back with a birdie on No. 12, another eagle at No. 14 and two more birdies at 16 and 17. Owen bogeyed the 18th and it was Audrain’s title.
