BANDON, Oregon (April 23, 2007) -- At the halfway point of the amateurgolf.com Two Man Links Championship, a number of lead changes took place among the four divisions (but certainly not in the Net Division, where a potential runaway is in the makings).
Caleb Porter and Bryce Hamilton shot 71 at the difficult Bandon Trails course and passed first round leaders Brad Kropp and Bill Roberts, who slid to a 74. In the Senior Division, Bobby Forster and Steven Friend shot a 66 and charged to a 6 shot lead. The Forster/Friend duo are defending their title.
The Stuart/Stuart team took the Super Senior lead by 5 strokes at 143, and the Bristow/Strong team lead the Net Division by a whopping 9 strokes after a jaw-dropping 59 at Bandon Trails.
The third round gets underway at Pacific Dunes on Tuesday, with the final being played on Bandon Dunes.
