The Glaze duo shot 8-under to win the Gross Division by three shots at the No. 2 rated public golf course in Florida
Gettys/Garrett Glaze of Charleston, S.C., went wire-to-wire to win the Championship Division of the AmateurGolf.com Two Man Links and Father & Son at Streamsong Golf Resort
The group shot 8-under to win the Gross Division by three shots over Donald/Zachary Miller of Alpharetta, Ga., who finished in solo second place at 5-under. In the Net Division, Glaze and Miller tied for the win at 9-under.
This was the Glaze's first appearance on the AGC tour. They carded rounds of 68-72-69 to get to 8-under.
Cory/Steve Donnelly of Salinas, Calif., and Donny Phillips of Suwanee, Ga., and Richard Keene of Chattanooga, Tenn., finished T3 at 2-under. Clark/Tyler Hurst of Jacksonville, Fla., finished in solo fifth place at even par.
Phillips/Keene also won the Open Division at 2-under by five shots.
In the Senior Division, Donny Phillips and Richard Keene finished at the top of the leaderboard, but players can only win one division and the top prize in each division. Therefore, Bob Burnett of Piedmont, Calif., and Dave Cannon of Oakland, Calif., finished in first place at 3-over.
For the same reason, the Millers won the Father & Son Division and not the Glaze's.
We would like to thank our awesome sponsors. Callaway is the overall sponsor of the event, and Fujikura and Strackaline are the supporting sponsors.
Fujikura provided prizes for the low teams, and in an awesome surprise for the players, Strackaline provided a yardage book cover and yardage and green guides for the three courses since many were playing for the first time.
