Simulator tournament gives qualifying amateur and professional players a good reason to book a trip to Switzerland
Foresight Sports continues to be the industry leader in launch monitor and golf simulator technology, and its partnership with eSports and the Omega European Masters has helped move the space even further forward.
For the third time, Foresight Sports and eSports are partnering on an Omega European Masters simulator tournament that offers potential real-world chances to win a spot in the pro-am for amateurs and DP World Tour event for professionals. The tournament is the OEM eSport Pro.
The Omega European Masters offers golfers the opportunity to compete in an esports tournament on Foresight Sports technology, with amazing prizes on the line.
AMATEURS
Amateurs play an 18-hole qualifier on a Foresight simulator, with the three lowest scores (two male, one female) receiving an invitation to play the Credit Suisse Gold Pro-Am on September 4th, 2024. We couldn't think of a better reason to get some days off from work, and book a trip to Switzerland. Playing in a Pro-Am is a golf bucket-list item, just ask AmateurGolf.com founder Pete Wlodkowski, who played in the Legends and Leaders Pro-Am with Scott McCarron prior to the 2023 Pure Insurance Classic at Pebble Beach.
PROFESSIONALS
Professionals will enter a 2-stage, 72-hole event, played on simulators in a full tournament setup.
The first stage of the tournament will be a qualifying event played from February 16th, 2024, until March 17th, 2024. The top 20 players and finalists of the tournament will advance to the second stage, which will be played over the last 36 holes from March 25th, 2024, to March 31st, 2024.
The three lowest scores will receive an invitation to participate in a one-round playoff at the Golf Club de Crans-sur-Sierre on September 3rd, 2024. The low score of the day will receive a wild card entry into the 2024 Omega European Masters, September 5th to September 8th, 2024.
