Stewart Golf Unveils The Open Collection Inspired by Golf’s Original Championship

Stewart Golf brings The Open-inspired design to its Q Follow and VERTX Remote electric trolleys with a special-edition collection built for golfers who love to walk.

For many golfers, The Open is more than a major championship. It is a reminder of golf in its most traditional form: walking the course, managing the elements, embracing the bounce of the ground and taking in the rhythm of links golf.

Stewart Golf has unveiled The Open Collection, a special-edition range of electric golf trolleys inspired by golf’s original championship.

Created as an Official Licensee of The Open, the collection brings championship-inspired design details to two of Stewart Golf’s flagship models: the Q Follow and the VERTX Remote. The premium British manufacturer is known for building electric trolleys designed around the walking experience, and this release connects that technology with the history and tradition of The Open.

The collection is available in three exclusive colorways: Championship Yellow, Links Blue and Claret Red.

Championship Yellow serves as the hero design and draws from the recognizable pin flags and scoreboards associated with The Open. It also includes subtle No. 18 detailing, a nod to the final hole where the Champion Golfer of the Year is crowned.

Claret Red pays tribute to the Claret Jug, one of golf’s most iconic trophies, while Links Blue reflects the skies, seas and horizons that have framed so many memorable moments throughout the championship’s history.

The collection is built around Stewart Golf’s “Walk of Champions” campaign, which celebrates the connection between golf’s oldest championship and the simple experience of walking the course.

“The Open occupies a unique place in our sport, not only because of its history and prestige, but because of the experience it represents for every golfer who loves the game. Our new collection is about celebrating that shared experience. Whether you’re competing in the biggest events or playing your home course with friends, there is something special about walking the fairways, embracing the challenge and enjoying the journey.” -Mark Stewart, CEO of Stewart Golf

The Q Follow features Stewart Golf’s Follow technology, which is designed to automatically follow the golfer throughout the round. For players who prefer to walk but do not want to carry or constantly manage a push cart, the appeal is simple: less interruption, more freedom and a round that feels closer to having a caddie handle the bag.

The VERTX Remote, meanwhile, is Stewart Golf’s most advanced remote-control trolley. It is built for control and stability across different course conditions, allowing golfers to guide the trolley around the course without physically pushing or pulling it.

For amateur golfers, The Open Collection is less about adding a logo to a product and more about tying modern walking technology to one of the game’s most traditional stages. The Open has always been closely connected to walking, weather, strategy and the ground game, and Stewart Golf’s latest release leans into that identity.

“Creating The Open Collection as an Official Licensee has given us the opportunity to combine our passion for innovation and design with the traditions and heritage that make golf’s original Championship so iconic,” Stewart said.

The result is a championship-inspired version of Stewart Golf’s two leading models, built for golfers who still believe walking is one of the best ways to experience the game. Find out more about the collection here.
