About the tournament
The 99th LNGA Amateur Championship draws an international field of more than 100 elite amateur women from eight countries to Columbus, Indiana, marking the first time the championship has been contested in the Hoosier State since its founding in 1927. As the culminating event of the Women's Elite Amateur Golf Series, the championship offers competitors U.S. Women's Amateur exemption stakes and a chance to compete for the historic George III Trophy at Harrison Lake Country Club.
