LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 15, 2007)-- Laura Kueny defeated Mallory Blackwelder 3 & 2 in the 36-hole championship match of the Women's Trans National, held at the Persimmon Ridge Golf Club.
Kueny had some close calls before the finals, squeezing past Emma Jandel and Candace Schepperle 1-up in the third round and semi-finals, respectively.
