Women's International Four-Ball: Sze, Choi hold on for title

After sitting atop the leaderboard all week, the team of Susan Choi (Natick, MA.) and Angel Sze (San Marino, CA.) survived a real threat from Wellington, Florida natives Mary Hanyak and Marianne Springer, with a clutch par from Choi on 18 to take the 61st International Women’s Four-ball, held at Orangebrook Golf & Country Club . The pair led the Orange Blossom Tour’s final event by one stroke going into the 18th after Sze made a 5 ft birdie on 17. Needing a par on 18, Choi’s second shot found the water, but she recovered on the par 5 by knocking her 4th shot to 8 feet and draining the putt to win the title. The twosome had two birdies each as the match never left 1-up after the 7th hole.
