In a cross-continental golfing collaboration, The American Junior Golf Association, Japan Golf Association, and Golf Australia will select a total of 78 members, aged 12 through 18, to join and compete in the tournament. As part of the tournament program, Adam Scott will host a special discussion with participants, and will also run a golf clinic for the junior players.
Speaking of today’s announcement, Scott said, “It is a great honor to host such a wonderful tournament with UNIQLO, which we have been working with for many years. When I was a junior player, I learned not only the fun of playing golf, but also about other important things in life, such as honesty and respect. Together with UNIQLO, we have created a tournament we hope will be a valuable learning opportunity for young people.”
Jason Etzen, Chief Business Officer of the American Junior Golf Association, said, “We are thrilled to welcome UNIQLO and Adam Scott, who has the vision to support our members in their mission to gain exposure for college golf scholarships. This event will immediately become a can’t-miss championship among our worldwide membership.”
