U.S. Am Four-Ball: Monday began with an 8-for-6 Playoff

Among the teams to advance in the six for eight team playoff are 2016 semifinalist Patrick Christovich and Garrett Rank

VILLAGE OF PINEHURST, NC (May 29, 2017) - Day three of the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball began with an eight for six playoff at Pinehurst No. 2. Beginning on the par-4 468 yard 14th hole the teams of Derek Busby and Bryan Vahlberg; Kenny Cook and Sean Rowen advanced to match play with birdie threes. With still four spots to fill, Sean Seese and Benjamin Smith; Micah Dean and Alex Rodger; 2016 semifinalist Patrick Christovich and Garrett Rank moved on with birdies on the 180 yard par-3 15th. The final team to punch their ticket into the Round of 32 were Brendan Borst and Thomas McDonagh who advanced with a par on the 485 yard par-4 16th.
