Two-time defending champion Will Cannon of Birmingham carded a three-under 68 to move up into a tie for fourth place.
Round one leader Clint Provost of Birmingham posted a four-over 75 to fall back into eighth place at 140.
Nine players broke par through 36 holes round with an average score of 76.6.
The field was cut to the low 66 scores and ties for the final round. The cut line fell at 151 (+9) with 66 players qualifying for the weekend.
