MISSION HILLS, Kan. (July 14, 2011) -- SMU’s Kelly Kraft (Denton, TX) claimed the 108th Trans-Mississippi Amateur Championship at Kansas City Country Club. Kraft, the 2011 & 2008 Texas Amateur champion, finished the championship at 14-under par 266.
University of Texas golfer Dylan Frittelli (Pretoria, South Africa) finished in a tie for second place with future Oklahoma State golfer Tanner Kesterson (Plano, TX).
Frittelli and Kesterson finished the 72-hole championship at 10-under par 270. Thank you to all the competitors and we look forward to seeing you all in 2012 at Oak Tree National in Edmond, OK for the 109th Trans-Mississippi Championship.
