Trans-Mississippi: Kraft holds on for win

SMU's Kelly Kraft, the 2008 & 2011 Texas Amateur champion, finished the championship at 14-under 266

MISSION HILLS, Kan. (July 14, 2011) -- SMU’s Kelly Kraft (Denton, TX) claimed the 108th Trans-Mississippi Amateur Championship at Kansas City Country Club. Kraft, the 2011 & 2008 Texas Amateur champion, finished the championship at 14-under par 266. University of Texas golfer Dylan Frittelli (Pretoria, South Africa) finished in a tie for second place with future Oklahoma State golfer Tanner Kesterson (Plano, TX). Frittelli and Kesterson finished the 72-hole championship at 10-under par 270.
