EDMOND, Okla. (July 11, 2012) -- Scoring conditions remained and the red numbers went up early at the 109th Trans-Mississippi Championship Wednesday at Oak Tree National in Edmond, Okla. U.C. Davis’ Tyler Raber claimed the clubhouse lead with a 6-under 65 in the morning wave. His 7-under 135 total held up and leads the Championship after two rounds. El Macero, Calif.’s Raber, playing in the second group off No. 10 tee, birdied five of six holes from No. 11 through 16, and turned in a back-nine 30. He then had three more birdies to offset a pair of bogeys on Oak Tree’s front nine. McKinney, Texas high schooler Brad Dalke remained in contention with a 2-under 69 Wednesday morning. Dalke, already committed to the University of Oklahoma, rebounded from a four-putt double bogey early in his second round to shoot even par on the back nine. He then made three birdies on the front nine en route to a 34. The 14-year-old stands at 6-under after two rounds and in solo second place, one behind Raber. Sixty-four players made the cut which came at 7-over 149. The Championship continues with the third round on Thursday morning and the fourth round on Thursday afternoon at Oak Tree National.
