Texas A&M remains atop Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll

Seven new teams move into the Top-25 highlighted by Stanford moving in to the poll at No. 14

NORMAN, OK (October 20, 2017) - Texas A&M tallied 18 first-place votes to remain No. 1 in the Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll. The Aggies have won all three of their tournaments this season.

Alabama moved up two spots to No. 2 and earned four first-place votes. Third-ranked Oklahoma State garnered the remaining first-place ballot. Georgia Tech climbed two spots to fourth and was followed by Oklahoma and Kentucky. Auburn entered the top 10 at No. 7. Eighth-ranked Baylor, Wake Forest and Florida completed the top 10.

Five teams debuted in the ranking - California (#18), Colorado State (#19), North Carolina (#21), Santa Clara (#20) and UCLA (#T22) - while Clemson (#16) and Stanford (#14) returned to the top 25. BYU, Duke, Florida State, Illinois, Southern California, St. Mary’s (CA) and Texas fell from the ranking.

The final fall Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Polls will be released November 17.
