South Florida leads tight race at Querencia Cabo Collegiate

Four teams are within four shots of the lead as the stacked event heads to Tuesday's final round at Querencia in Los Cabos

SAN JOSE DEL CABO, Mexico — Rigel Fernandes, a sophomore for the University of South Florida, shot 64-71 in the opening two rounds of the Querencia Cabo Collegiate to lead his Bulls to a one-stroke lead entering Tuesday's final round. Fernandes, of India, is tied for first along with Stanford's Viraat Badhwar of Australia and Washington's Cheng-Tsung Pan of Taipei at seven-under par. They lead Corey Pereira of Washington by two and Will Zalatoris (Wake Forest) and Rowin Caron (Florida State) by three. The team race is bunched up at the top, with the Bulls ahead Stanford by one, Florida State by three, and Washington by four.
