SOS John Kline: Smith leads after Round 2

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (May 7, 2014) -- Dan Smith shot a second-round 77 and will take a one-shot lead into the third round at the 2014 John Kline Super Seniors, put on by the Society of Seniors. At Oak Hills Country Club, a terrific field sits one shot back of Smith. Recent Tower Invitational Senior champion Gary Kirwan shot 73 to scoot up the leaderboard while Fred Silver, John Richard, Pete McDade and Ted Smith are all tied for third, three back of Smith. In the 70-74 Division, Walt Martin (74-75) leads by a shot over Gary Strickfaden. Bob Hullender is running away with the 75-79 division while Don Addington leads by six in the 80-plus division.
