Sinnott, Viitakangas lead Master of the Amateurs

MELBOURNE, Australia – Todd Sinnott and Simon Viitakangas of Australia are tied for the 54-hole lead at 6-under in The Australian Master of the Amateurs after both players posted rounds of 2-under 70 on Thursday. American Cameron Wilson, who plays for Stanford shot 71 and is in third at 4-under while fellow American Max Buckley (72-71-71 – 214, -2) is tied for fifth. Cal senior Brandon Hagy (who finished 20th in his Master of the Amateurs debut in 2013) shot a two-under par 70 on Thursday to move up another three spots into a tie for seventh place with one round remaining in the prestigious event.
