He is joined by Jeremy Gearhart atop the leaderboard, with nine other golfers within three strokes. In the senior flight, Tony Wilmer leads by a stroke over Neil Duffy after carding a 70.
James Grensted, Mike Sly and Patrick McKenna are tied for the net flight lead at 72.
