INDIO, Calif. (April 20, 2007)-- Paul Schlachter's 65 in the first round of the Senior Masters gave him the solid cushion he would need after shooting a 79 in the second round.
The 58-year-old former Western Pennsylvania Player of the Year followed with 74-75 on the final two days to finish with a 293, three strokes better than his nearest competitors, Gary Hardin and Bob Foulke.
