Schenkel Inv: Georgia Southern takes lead

Georgia Southern shot 12-under 276 in the second round of the Schenkel Invitational to take a four-shot lead into Sunday’s final round. The Eagles were led by Hayden Anderson with a 5-under 67 on Saturday at Forest Heights Country Club. First-round leader Alabama-Birmingham is in second at 10-under 566. College of Charleston is in third, another shot back. North Florida is fourth at 7 under. Texas and Central Florida are tied for fifth at 3 under. Texas’ Kramer Hickok and Alabama-Birmingham’s Martin are tied for the individual lead at 6-under 138. Five players are tied for third at 5 under.
