Romain Langasque, Scott Gregory to play in Finals at Spanish International Amateur

The 2015 British Amateur champion will face off against England's Scott Gregory who looks to continue his trend of upsets in one final match

SEVILLA, Spain (March 4, 2016) --The final two players are ready to tee off for the Spanish International Amateur title Sunday at Real Club de Golf in Sevilla, Spain. 2015 British Amateur champion Romain Langasque of France -- who will play in The Masters this April -- will play against Scott Gregory of England. While Langasque has a major championship under his belt and a much higher ranking, Gregory has previously finished second in the English Amateur (2014). Either player would love to win the "Copa S.M. El Rey" here at Sevilla. Gregory's run to the finals has included key victories over up-and-coming players Marco Penge of England (who he shocked 6-and-5 in round one) and Guido Migliozzi of Italy. Langasque (after posting the lowest round in qualifying with a 64) cruised through most of his matches until the semifinals, when he was tested by James Walker in a match that went 19 holes.
