Reeves wins Southeastern Amateur

Seth Reeves of Duluth, Georgia holds on for a three shot win

COLUMBUS, Georgia (June 18, 2011) -- Seth Reeves entered the final round of the Southeastern Amateur with a nice cushion. After posting three rounds in the 60s he was alone at the top of the leaderboard at 9-under par. Reeve's final round 74 may not have been up to the high standard he set in the first three rounds, but considering it is US Open week nobody can argue with playing a bit more conservatively (possibly away from final round pins) and bringing home a three stroke victory. Reeves plays for Georgia Tech University.
