Records fall at South Beach Int'l Amateur

Miami Beach Golf Club’s course record for the South Beach International Amateur was reset three times Wednesday afternoon in the second round of the 198-player tournament, now in its second year. First Victor Perez, a Frenchman out of the University of New Mexico, broke Tommy Mou’s record of 5-under-par 66, which was set Tuesday. Perez held the record for about an hour before Ryan Burgess, from Southern Methodist University, bested him with a 64. Minutes later, Burgess was outdone by Ole Miss sophomore Blake Morris, who shot a 63.
