Ramey holds one stroke lead at Magnolia Amateur

Chad Ramey continues to lead at the Magnolia Amateur

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (July 7, 2012) -- Chad Ramey carded a second round 68 to hold a narrow lead over Kevin Brady. Ramey, who plays out of Mississippi State carded 67-68--135 and Brady, who plays for Southern Mississippi posted 69-67--136. Myles Lewis, Louisiana state is third with rounds of 68-69--137. The Magnolia Amateur is a limited field event of 120 players made up of 80 players under 40 years old and 40 players over 40 years old. Along with the individual tournament, there is a college team competition that is based on the combined scores of two players on the same team over the 3 rounds.
