PALM BEACH, FL (October, 16, 2005) -- David Abell defeated Darry Osler 2 & 1 in the finals to with the 20th Annual Mid Amateur Championship. It was the second win this year for Abell. He won the County Amateur in July.
Chris Cowell defeated Craig Jackson 1up to win the First Flight, Allistair Brown defeated Robert Saunders 1up to win the Second Flight. The Third Flight was won by Jose Tirado, Jr. 3 & 2 over Clay Bass and the Fourth Flight was won by Vince Nobile 4 & 3 over Bill Weible.
